2. Hosting
This website is self-hosted on a private server located in Germany.
No third-party hosting providers are used. Server access logs (IP address,
date, time, pages visited) are stored temporarily for security purposes.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in server security).
Logs are deleted after 7 days.
3. Cookies
This site uses only technically necessary session cookies required for
basic functionality. No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies are used.
No cookie consent banner is required.
4. Newsletter
If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address and subscription
date are stored and processed for the sole purpose of sending you updates
from this blog.
Upon signup, the following data is stored: email address, signup date and time, and IP address (for consent verification purposes). Subscriber data is deleted within 30 days of unsubscription.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent via double opt-in).
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
Email delivery: Emails are sent via Resend (Resend Inc., 2261 Market
Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). Resend is certified under
the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), ensuring an adequate level of
data protection for transfers to the US. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
is in place with Resend. For details, see Resend's Privacy Policy.
5. No Analytics or External Services
- No analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) are used
- No external fonts, CDN resources, or tracking pixels are loaded
- No social media plugins or embed codes are used
- Gravatar is disabled
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data held about you (Art. 15)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Erasure of your data (Art. 17)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18)
